Farnorth Dancefest - 2nd - 4th November 2018
On the 2nd to the 4th of November 2018, Thurso Come Dancing are hosting the first ever "FarNorth Dancefest". We are bringing 4 teachers from the Inverness area to 4 venues in Thurso to run simultaneous workshops for a weekend extravaganza.

MAD street dance championships February 2016
Rush.dance has just competed at MAD street dance championships in Motherwell. Mad is always a big Scottish street dance comp with all the very best dancers from around Scotland but again our Rush.dance kids performed their way to making finals and bringing home trophies with our Advanced Duos Laya and Chloe taking the top u12 spot and our youngest of our group U8 Novice dancers taking all the top 3 places, 1st Ava, 2nd Hannah and Troy 3rd place.17/2/2016
Thurso Come Dancing
We hold classes which are aimed at introducing everyone to Ballroom and Latin dances, but also giving a bit of help to get some confidence to lead and to follow when social dancing too. The classes are at Beginner Level but we also have a later class where the members are working on Medal routines and more advanced steps.27/11/2015
Rushdance WOW them at Aviemore Comps
Rush.dance kids achieve back to back wins at two massive comps, Rush have just competed at MJN promotions Hip Hop festival in Aviemore. Once again the Rush kids have stepped up, delivered and came home with a 25 trophy haul, winning 14 Championship titles and (Tops Off Winners) the very best Hip Hop dancers of the day in Junior and Senior sections.

Rush.dance competitive team have just competed at MAD street dance championships in Motherwell. Results on the day, SOLO results - U10 Beginner *Winner* Ruby Mann, 3rd place Koby Sutherland.

Thurso Come Dancing Strike Silver! 
Thurso come Dancing members are going from strength to strength and doing well increasing their levels of dancing that have been recognised in the awards received at recent tests. 10 members travelled to Lossiemouth to be tested and one member was tested on a video.

Rush.dance Haul of Trophies At Perth
Rush.dance have just competed at UDO Central Scotland street dance championships in Perth, this is the first Qualifier for next year's World street dance championships. Thousands of dancers from all over Scotland came all hoping to make a final and qualify for next year’s big one ‘the World championships’ Solo’s U6 Open, Erna Thain *Runner up* (she is only 3 years old and competing against kids up to age 5+ just shows how fantastic this little worker has done) U8 Novice, Troy Giles *WINNER* and new Scottish Central champion, Ava Cook 4th place.

Rush.dance Youngest Team Member Shows Talent In Perth
Rush.dance have just competed at UDO Central Scotland street dance championships in Perth, this is the first Qualifier for next year's World street dance championships. The youngest memebr of the Rush.dance team Emma Thain came away as the runner up in the Under 6 age group.

Rushdance Kids Swept The Boards At Hip Hop Competitions in Grangemouth
Rush.dance competition kids have just competed at MJN Promotions Hip Hop Trophy day in Grangemouth. Willie Miller said, "it's awesome when your school competes hard and then the kids get the rewards, again today Rush.dance showed we are major contenders in the Hip Hop world, teachers Rebecca & Willie Miller are really proud of our achievements at this comp." MAD street dance Ultimate championships
Rush.dance kids came out on top at the massive Scottish street dance competition - MAD STREET DANCE in Motherwell The competition is the 2nd biggest in Scotland with all the very best street dancers competing. Results on the day - Solo sections, U10 Advanced Solo , Chloe MacGregor *Runner up* Chloe danced in the elite section to become 2nd best U10 street dancer in Scotland was such a fantastic achievement.

Rush.dance Win Big In Grangemouth Hip Hop
Rush.dance comp kids have just competed at MJN promotions Hip Hop competition in Grangemouth. As you can see in the picture the kids had an awesome time and also came home with a big haul of trophies after winning many sections on the day.

Come Dancing In Thurso Is Growing
Thurso Come Dancing joined the growing wave of interest in Ballroom and Latin dancing some time ago but with all the media attention many people have been reminded of the great chance to socialise in a club. There are many benefits to be had from dancing not least being the health and well-being side.

Rush.dance Showered In Trophies In Dundee
Rush.dance kids have just competed at maximum street dance championships in Dundee, The competition was held in the Caird hall in Dundee. Again this year the competition was massive with around 40 kids in each sections and it being our first run out for 2015.

Rush.dance Competition kids have just competed at Central Scotland Street dance Championships in Perth, Our kids have just returned for the first Scottish UDO street dance championships, which was also a UDO European / World championship qualifier for 2015. Results on the day, Crew - U14 Novice, Fenix Rise *Runners up* Beth Mackay, Kelsey Ross, Rhiannon Mackay, laya Cowie, Chloe MacGregor, Lauren miller & Rebecca Miller (Lead choreographer) Solo - U6 Open, Hannah Cowie 5th place, Troy Giles 3rd place.

UDO World Street dance championships
Rush.dance have just competed at the biggest street dance competition of the year. UDO (United dance organisation) have just held the World street dance championships in Glasgow at both SECC and CLYDE venues, with dancers from over 30 countries around the world from afar a field as Canada, Australia, Japan, America, Netherlands, Germany and many more, with 250 crews competing and over 6000 people attending.
