Wick Pipe Band Season Drawing to a Close - Two Parades
The hectic summer schedule of Wick RBLS Pipe Band is drawing to a close.  Tomorrow (Saturday 24/8/13) sees the band return to the Market Square for a street parade starting at 7.30pm, there was no parade last week due to B-fest and the World Pipe Band Championships.

Caithness Gigs Brings More Music To The County
Hot on the heels of another great Bfest, there's more good news for music fans in Caithness with the launch of "Caithness Gigs".  The new company has been set up as a not-for-profit venture to bring the best in live music to Wick and Thurso and give local musicians a platform to develop their careers.

Fèis Ghàidhlig Ghlaschu at Piping Live looking forward to Blas 2013
Some of Fèisean nan Gàidheal’s up and coming musical talent in Glasgow will tomorrow afternoon (Thursday August 15) be breaking new ground at the 10th Piping Live festival.   Fèisean nan Gàidheal supports the development of community-based Gaelic arts tuition festivals throughout Scotland and tomorrow’s event at St Enoch Centre is the first time that the young performers from the piping festival’s home city will have been involved.
