Caithness based artist Magi Sinclair is holding a solo exhibition for High Life Highland at the Thurso Gallery (situated within Thurso Library) from Saturday 12th October to Wednesday 6th November 2019. The exhibition entitled ‘From the Causewaymire' comprises 40 pieces - drawings, etchings and paintings - where she has taken inspiration from places and landmarks along the road from Latheron to Thurso.

It was with great excitement that Elaine welcomed Alison Damant all the way from Bradford, England last week. Alison travelled 652 miles from Bradford to Caithness especially to meet her artist friend.

'A moment in time', an exhibition of work by two Latheronwheel artists got off to a flying start at the North Lands Creative Glass gallery at Quatre Bras, Lybster on Friday evening. A collection of paintings by Jane McDonough and photographic prints by Angus Mackay proved a big attraction, with over 100 people attending the preview night.
