Creative Scotland Awards Regular Funding To Regional Screen ScotlandThumbnail for article : Creative Scotland Awards Regular Funding To Regional Screen Scotland
Creative Scotland has awarded Regional Screen Scotland a second round of Regular Funding, for the period April 2018 to March 2021.  Over that three year period, Creative Scotland intends to provide a total grant of £620,350 to RSS.

Creative Scotland Announces 3 Year Funding For Arts Groups
Creative Scotland is pleased to announce the network of organisations that will receive Regular Funding for the three-year period, April 2018 to March 2021, following the conclusion of an open application process.   The Regular Funding Network 2018-21 consists of 116 organisations, of which 19 are new and 97 continue with three-year funding, supported by £99m Grant in Aid funding through a three-year commitment from the Scottish Government, as set out in the recent draft budget statement.

EXPO Fund to include Celtic Connections
For the first time, Glasgow event Celtic Connections is able to apply for up to £100,000 of EXPO funding, Culture Secretary Fiona Hyslop confirmed.   Speaking ahead of the opening concert Ms Hyslop said:"Since 2008, the Scottish Government EXPO Fund has supported the delivery and further expansion of Scotland's major festivals with an investment of £21 million.

Whats your view on Scotlands TV and Film Industry?
The Scottish Parliament's Culture, Tourism, Europe and External Relations Committee http://www.parliament.scot/parliamentarybusiness/CurrentCommittees/european-committee.aspx are conducting an inquiry into Scotland's TV and film industry.  The Committee wants to look at ways to strengthen and develop the sector using recommendations from the Screen Sector Leadership Group's report.
