Caithness Quilters
Caithness Quilters is a group, which formed in 2000, of ladies who enjoy the challenge of new and traditional techniques of patchwork and quilting.
We meet monthly on the last Tuesday in the month. The venue changes each meeting between the Free Church Hall, Thurso and Pultney Parish Church, Wick mainly, but our programme is published on Caithness.Org and members receive a printed programme when they join. Office Bearers change after 2 years in office. We annually have a charity event to raise funds for a local cause.
We have supported the local Renal Unit, Macmillian Nurses and this year it will be the local branch of Diabetes UK.
Caithness Quilters have had workshops during the year from tutors from Edinburgh (Pat Archibald), Aberdeenshire (Margaret Owen), Inverness (Sheena Norquoy) and Montrose (Beth Nelson) and visited Inchmore for a workshop with Sandra Kelsey.
New members are welcome.
