Sunday 4th February 2024 at Thurso Royal British Legion
10-4pm for advanced players; 1pm-4pm for children under 16 and adult learners (grade 1-2).

This event is free of charge and open to any community musician who plays a wind band instrument. (School age participants must be receiving regular lessons on their woodwind or brass instrument.).

With conductors Susie Dingle and Karen Anderson, we will be playing some fun repertoire together as a community wind band. More advanced players will practice an appropriately challenging piece in the morning. At 1pm we will be joined by adult learners and under 16s and we'll practice two easier pieces.

At 3.30pm there will be an informal performance for the general public.

There is no charge for this event, but we will be supporting Arran's Appeal to raise funds and awareness of the Stem Cell Register.
All participants should bring their instrument and a music stand if they have one. Children should bring a drink and a snack for the break.

Please fill in the form at the link below and return it to us as soon as possible to let us know if you are planning to come, so that we can have music and seats ready for you!

We are grateful that this event has been generously supported by a grant from Jennifer's Fund (Cairngorm Group). For more details or if you have any questions, please email susie@caithnessmusic.com or ring 01847 893517.
