Highland 2007 received a further boost today with Tulloch Ltd signing up to be a Major Partner to the year Scotland celebrates Highland Culture.

The Tulloch Group has pledged £50,000 to support various events throughout the year, including the Tulloch Inverness Highland Games, featuring the World Highland Games Championships.

As a Major Partner, Tulloch will directly enhance the range and quality of events and projects making up the programme for Highland 2007, supporting the drive to promote the Highlands as a great place to live and to visit.

Alison Magee, chair of Highland 2007, said: "It is great that businesses like Tulloch are getting on board as partners to the year of celebration in 2007. Tulloch is already tremendously supportive of events throughout the Highlands and clearly recognise the unique opportunity working with Highland 2007 can provide for all involved."

Tulloch chairman, David Sutherland, said: "As a company, we greatly value our Highland heritage which is why we're extremely pleased to become a Major Partner of Highland 2007.

"Our workforce and customers are spread throughout the area and we're glad of the opportunity to assist the celebration of its arts, culture, music and sport in what promises to be an exciting and entertaining year."
