On Sunday the 9th of April 2006, Skinandi's in Thurso will be host to six of the best bands in Caithness. New music promotions company, Rot'nRoll are staging a Benefit Concert to aid the quality of life for a quality family living with cancer. Starting at 4pm, with doors open at 3pm, Rot'nRoll have even managed to persuade county favourites The Howlin Gaels to join the big local names for 7 hours of the best music Caithness has to offer.
Jump the Q, Empty House, After Hours, Deja Vu, the Low Flyers and Cyanide (the plus one) join the Gaels for the best line up of musicians seen at one event for many years. Tickets for this superb day go on sale this week and will be available from Wick Music Shop, Thurso Music Shop and Good Vibrations (Thurso). Tickets cost �10 if purchased in advance or �12.50 at the door on the day. Note that tickets should only be purchased from the listed outlets to ensure they are genuine.
14 to 16 year olds will be able to attend until 8pm with the warning that under-age drinking will NOT be tolerated.
