Lyth Arts summer exhibition is now on and hereis an unusual chance to meet the artists outdoors.

An interactive sound walk with our Summer Exhibition Artists.

There will be an introduction to some sound walking techniques that participants may choose from. After the sound walk, which could last from 30 minutes to an hour, we will have a period of discussion to ask questions and reflect on the experience.

Please wear sensible shoes and clothing ready for the Caithness weather!

Flow Country Unesco Celebration At Lyth Arts Centre - 13 December 2024
A special event to mark and celebrate the Flow Country's successful bid to become a UNESCO World Heritage site.  The evening will include a drinks reception, guest speakers and a screening of ‘When Fish Begin to Crawl’ with a chance to meet the team behind the bid.

Basel Adra, a young Palestinian activist from Masafer Yatta, has been fighting his community's mass expulsion by the Israeli occupation since childhood.  Basel documents the gradual erasure of Masafer Yatta, as soldiers destroy the homes of families - the largest single act of forced transfer ever carried out in the occupied West Bank.
