Rush.dance teaches Street & Breakdance, for both Boys & Girls from the age of 3 and up to adult.
Classes are fun based whilst getting funky & learning the biggest dance craze around. We also run Competitive classes and Private lessons for anyone who wants to take it further and compete around the Scottish/world Street dance circuits.
*NEW* tricks class is now running with kids learning Basic to advanced Gymnastic Style flips with the Breakdance style, This class is open to anyone who just want to flip around.. Street dance is everywhere on TV shows, TV adverts & music videos which shows how big it really is around the world.
Rush.dance Thurso Youth Club (every Tuesday)
Class 1, (age3-7) 3:45 - 4:30. Basic Street/breakdance, movement to music whilst getting Funky.
Class 2, (age 8 & over) 4:30 - 5:15. Basic Street/Breakdance to Advanced levels, New Style Street.
Class 3, *NEW tricks class, 5:30 - 6:15. This is a new fantastic class for kids to learn how to Trick & Flip!! Whether your kid wants to street dance or just learn to flip around this is the class for them.. Open to all ages as moves are made basic to work up to advanced level of Flips/Tricks.
Rush.dance Wick Assembly rooms (every Wednesday)
Class 1, (age3-7) 6:15 - 7:00. Basic Street/Breakdance, movement to music whilst getting Funky.
Class 2, (age 8 & over) 7:15 - 8:00. Basic Street/Breakdance to Advanced levels, New Style Street.
Rush.dance Competitive - Thurso Central Function rooms (every Thursday)
(Pre-booked) Competition Class and Private Lessons, this class is for your kid to take it further and compete. Rush.dance has had Finalists/Winners in Solo's, Duo's and Crew (team) events around Scotland/UK.
Rush.dance Workshops/Projects - We can be hired anywhere around the North of Scotland
Rush.dance teachers can be hired by Clubs, Schools, dance schools etc.. for Fitness through street dance for a hourly/daily/ Projects. We have successfully completed workshops/projects for Highland Health board, highland Council (schools), Eden Court, Other dance schools, Youth clubs and organisations around the north of Scotland.

Keep Fit, Have Fun, Get FUNKY!!
Rush.dance has just competed at MAD street dance championships in Motherwell. Mad is always a big Scottish street dance comp with all the very best dancers from around Scotland but again our Rush.dance kids performed their way to making finals and bringing home trophies with our Advanced Duos Laya and Chloe taking the top u12 spot and our youngest of our group U8 Novice dancers taking all the top 3 places, 1st Ava, 2nd Hannah and Troy 3rd place.
Rush.dance kids achieve back to back wins at two massive comps, Rush have just competed at MJN promotions Hip Hop festival in Aviemore. Once again the Rush kids have stepped up, delivered and came home with a 25 trophy haul, winning 14 Championship titles and (Tops Off Winners) the very best Hip Hop dancers of the day in Junior and Senior sections.
Rush.dance competitive team have just competed at MAD street dance championships in Motherwell. Results on the day, SOLO results - U10 Beginner *Winner* Ruby Mann, 3rd place Koby Sutherland.
Rush.dance have just competed at UDO Central Scotland street dance championships in Perth, this is the first Qualifier for next year's World street dance championships. Thousands of dancers from all over Scotland came all hoping to make a final and qualify for next year’s big one ‘the World championships’ Solo’s U6 Open, Erna Thain *Runner up* (she is only 3 years old and competing against kids up to age 5+ just shows how fantastic this little worker has done) U8 Novice, Troy Giles *WINNER* and new Scottish Central champion, Ava Cook 4th place.
Rush.dance have just competed at UDO Central Scotland street dance championships in Perth, this is the first Qualifier for next year's World street dance championships. The youngest memebr of the Rush.dance team Emma Thain came away as the runner up in the Under 6 age group.
Local girl uses dance skills learnt at Rush.dance and wins Golden ticket to perform main stage with her dance idols Diversity. Beth Mackay 12 years old (Wick).
Rush.dance competition kids have just competed at MJN Promotions Hip Hop Trophy day in Grangemouth. Willie Miller said, "it's awesome when your school competes hard and then the kids get the rewards, again today Rush.dance showed we are major contenders in the Hip Hop world, teachers Rebecca & Willie Miller are really proud of our achievements at this comp." Rush.dance kids came out on top at the massive Scottish street dance competition - MAD STREET DANCE in Motherwell The competition is the 2nd biggest in Scotland with all the very best street dancers competing. Results on the day - Solo sections, U10 Advanced Solo , Chloe MacGregor *Runner up* Chloe danced in the elite section to become 2nd best U10 street dancer in Scotland was such a fantastic achievement.
