Calling Arts Groups To Check Out New Funding Source

CLORE DUFFIELD FOUNDATION

£1 Million Over Five Years Available

Grants of up to £10,000 are available to fund education programmes that cover every aspect of the performing arts including opera, dance, music, musical theatre, the spoken word and theatre. The funding which is being made available through the Clore Duffield Foundation's Small Grants programme is open to both professional and amateur arts organisations, including schools. The programme aims to support performing arts education activities for young people (aged 0 - 18) across the UK.

The Clore Small Grants Programme funds performing arts education initiatives aimed at children and young people (aged 0-18) across the UK. The Programme will be worth a total of £1 million to the sector over a five-year period from 2005 to 2010.

The Clore Duffield Foundation has launched this Programme with the chief aim of providing children and young people with opportunities to experience performing arts education at its best.

The closing date for applications is the 14th March 2006.
