Art Competition Open To Primary Schools In Caithness

CLAN GUNN SOCIETY CAITHNESS ART PROJECT
ART COMPETITION OPEN TO PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN CAITHNESS

The Clan Gunn Society is holding an art competition for children in Primary schools in Caithness.
The theme for the competition is:
MY CAITHNESS: Land and Sea
There are two categories for entrants:
· Ages 7 - 9
· Ages 10 -11

There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes in both categories

1st Prize will be a package of art materials for you, a digital camera for your school and a free session for your class at the Clan Gunn Heritage Centre in Latheron, Caithness.

2nd Prize will be art materials for you and for your school and a free session for your class at the Clan Gunn Heritage Centre.

3rd Prize will be art materials for you and a free session for your class at the Clan Gunn Heritage Centre.

The winners will be awarded their prizes at the Gathering and Halkirk Highland Games in the summer.

All entrants will have their artwork exhibited in the Clan Gunn Heritage Centre.

You can use any materials, techniques or processes (e.g. drawing, painting, printmaking, textiles, collage, montage) to make your artwork, as long as the finished piece is 2 dimensional and size A4 or A3.

The closing date for entries is Friday 2nd APRIL 2010

All entries should have your name, age, school, class, and name of your teacher and teacher's contact details marked CLEARLY on the BACK and sent to:
