The last goNORTH was Inverness and we think it was our best yet, more music, more industry delegates, film and tv, fashion, more panels and workshops and more music. Add 35,000 people at Rockness where we had the goNORTH Xposure stage, and it's pretty clear why we think it was our best yet.

So how do we follow that - goNORTH goes to Dundee, that's how! And what to expect... more music, more industry delegates, screen writing, song writing, more music and a wealth of workshops and panels for anyone involved in music or the creative industries.

The dates this year for the main showcases are 5th and 6th June, but there will be a week of activity, finishing with a chance to play the goNORTH Xposure stage at Rockness again.

How To Register
Applying is easier than ever. You can apply free on line at this site. Simply attach a biog, picture and mp3s. You will be considered for all stages at goNORTH except the Sonic Bids stage. You will also be considered for Rockness. Remember, by applying you are giving us permission to use the info and tracks you send for promotional purposes (assuming you are offered a place at goNORTH or Rockness). Your track will also be considered for the sampler CD that goes out on the cover of MUSIC WEEK unless you tell us otherwise. Applications must be received by 28/03/08.

You can also apply through Sonic Bids. There is a charge, but you will also be considered for the Sonic Bids stage at goNORTH and you should check out the advantages of going through Sonic Bids at site. Remember, by applying you are giving us permission to use the info and tracks you send for promotional purposes (assuming you are offered a place at goNORTH or Rockness). Your track will also be considered for the sampler CD that goes out on the cover of MUSIC WEEK unless you tell us otherwise.
