25th November 2007
The "Artsmith Christmas 2007 Exhibition" entitled "The Last Picture Show" brings together work spanning recent years but features several new pieces completed in the last few weeks. As the sub-title - "Some things in Life are black and white" suggests, there are a number of monochromatic exhibits on show. These have been produced in charcoal and acrylics and fit well into the landscape/wildlife theme of past exhibitions by Julian Smith - and focus attention on observational drawing in the field.
A range of vibrant original seascapes, sketchbook extracts, limited edition prints and miniatures combine to make this a diverse and insightful experience for audiences. In addition there are some special offers for Christmas which make for inexpensive but thoughtful gift ideas.
The show then runs from 2.30 - 5.30pmon Saturday 1 December and Sunday 2 December from 2.30 - 5pm. For further details please ring 01847 851 280
