Kate and Mike Westbrook
15 September 8.00pm
This is a very special occasion with two of the best names in British jazz. The Westbrooks have led the field over several decades with their constant pushing of boundaries; some of you may have been enjoying the four recent Radio Three Jazz File programmes devoted to their life's work. At Lyth the duo will perform The Westbrook Songbook with the works of Kurt Weill, Hollaender, Cole Porter and others.
NTC in The Comedy of Errors
18 & 19 September 8.00pm
This company always presents the highest quality of stage work and it will be fun to see what they make of one of Shakespeare's most wacky plays. All of their previous productions have attracted a great response and the sheer scale of the tour shows how much they are in demand from Lincs. to Lyth. If you think Shakespeare might be too hard-going, NTC will quickly change your mind.
