1st May 2015

Photograph of MAD street dance Ultimate championships

Rush.dance kids came out on top at the massive Scottish street dance competition - MAD STREET DANCE in Motherwell The competition is the 2nd biggest in Scotland with all the very best street dancers competing.

Results on the day -
Solo sections,
U10 Advanced Solo , Chloe MacGregor *Runner up* Chloe danced in the elite section to become 2nd best U10 street dancer in Scotland was such a fantastic achievement. (picture front middle)
U14 Beginner, Beth Mackay 4th place.
U12 Novice, Rhiannon Mackay 3rd place, Rhiannon backed up her win at Grangemouth comp with her personal best result making top 3.
U12 Inter, Laya Cowie *Runner up
*
Duo sections,
U12 Advanced Duo, Chloe MacGregor & Laya Cowie *WINNERS* Chloe & laya danced in the elite duo section and came out on top, achieving the title of being the best U12 duos street dancers in Scotland.
U16 Novice, Beth Mackay & Kelsey Ross 5th place.

Once again the kids have made myself and Rebecca Miller very proud teachers. Some sections on the day had over 50 kids competing in them and for our kids to make the finals at such a big comp was fantastic. To have Chloe and Laya dancing in the elite sections was amazing and for them to come out on top and be the very best in Scotland just shows how fantastic we are doing as a dance school.

Rush.dance goes from strength to strength with a new crop of kids training to compete ( four of them as young as 3 years old) this again is great for the school as bringing these little ones in is the future of Rush.dance.
