Work by Magi Sinclair originally of Latheron, Caithness has been selected to appear in an exhibition of work by outstanding arts graduates in London.

FBA Futures 2015 picks work by recent graduates from Degree and MA shows across the country. More than 40 Art Schools were visited by the selectors, who are all members of the Federation of British Artists and 18 students have been selected.

‘Forsinard Ebb and Flow' is one of two pieces which will be exhibited by Magi, from her charcoal studies of the Flow Country.

Speaking ahead of her visit to London, Magi says "I am delighted to be invited to exhibit at such a prestigious event. This will take not only my work but the remote beauty of the Flow Country to the heart of London."

Magi's selection by the FBA follows her success winning the Edinburgh College of Art Astaire Prize and the Hermione Hammond Drawing prize last summer following her graduation.

The Jackson's Art Supplies 'One to Watch' Prize will be awarded by the Jackson's Art Supplies Creative team to one 2-dimensional work in the exhibition that demonstrates a coherence between process and concept. The work will demonstrate depth of thought, craftsmanship, and most importantly, will impact on the viewer with the power of its aesthetic.

Admission to the Minerva sponsored exhibition is free.
