Rush.dance kids winning their way to European and World Championships

Rush.dance Competition kids have just competed at Scotland's Biggest Street dance competition of the year so far, our kids put themselves up against the very best dancers in Scotland at the UDO Scottish Championships in the Royal Concert hall Glasgow on the 8th June 2014.
Results on the day -
It was only their second time out competing for our new all girl crew. FENIX RISE who not only put in an amazing performance but came away Winning their section, they are the U14 Beginner UDO Scottish champions and winning this prestige competition also qualifies them to compete at the UDO World championships later this year. Not only that but because they placed in the top 3 places they also qualify for the European UDO championships for 2015 in Paris.

Also qualifying for World Championships as they made the UDO Scottish championship finals in Solo -
U6 Open, Hannah cowie *Runner Up
*U8 Beg, Koby Sutherland 4th place.
U10 Advanced, Tyler Hutton 5th place.
U12 Beg, Beth MacKay 3rd place.
U16 Inter, Rebecca Miller 3rd place.
Each Solo section was massive on the day with approximately 50 - 70 kids in each section so to make a semi-final was a stupendous achievement. Just missing out on the day were Ava Cook, Troy Giles, Liam Giles, Levi Hutton, Chloe MacGregor, Laya Cowie, Rhiannon Mackay, Kelsey Ross.
Some of these kids are travelling to once again to try and qualify for the world championships at another UDO street dance competition in Birmingham on the 6th of July.
Reflecting on how well we have done again as a street dance school, to come home with our new crew Winning the UDO Scottish title was amazing. To have these 5 kids achieve the grade to compete against the very best street dancers from around the world and to be going to Paris next year to go against the best again in Europe just shows what an exciting time it is at Rush.dance.
Rush.dance has one of Scotland very best Street dance Choreographer's coming up to Thurso on the 28th June to teach at Rush.dance, he will be teaching new Hip Hop and House styles, this again will give our kids the confidence to go to the next level. (anyone interested please contact Rush.dance)

Rush.dance have just competed at UDO Lancashire Championships in Blackpool. Results on the day Team - U14 Beginner 4th place, Demonz.
Rush.dance has just competed at MAD street dance championships in Motherwell. Mad is always a big Scottish street dance comp with all the very best dancers from around Scotland but again our Rush.dance kids performed their way to making finals and bringing home trophies with our Advanced Duos Laya and Chloe taking the top u12 spot and our youngest of our group U8 Novice dancers taking all the top 3 places, 1st Ava, 2nd Hannah and Troy 3rd place.
Rush.dance kids achieve back to back wins at two massive comps, Rush have just competed at MJN promotions Hip Hop festival in Aviemore. Once again the Rush kids have stepped up, delivered and came home with a 25 trophy haul, winning 14 Championship titles and (Tops Off Winners) the very best Hip Hop dancers of the day in Junior and Senior sections.
Rush.dance competitive team have just competed at MAD street dance championships in Motherwell. Results on the day, SOLO results - U10 Beginner *Winner* Ruby Mann, 3rd place Koby Sutherland.
Rush.dance have just competed at UDO Central Scotland street dance championships in Perth, this is the first Qualifier for next year's World street dance championships. The youngest memebr of the Rush.dance team Emma Thain came away as the runner up in the Under 6 age group.

Thousands of dancers from all over Scotland came all hoping to make a final and qualify for next year’s big one ‘the World championships’ Solo’s U6 Open, Erna Thain *Runner up* (she is only 3 years old and competing against kids up to age 5+ just shows how fantastic this little worker has done) U8 Novice, Troy Giles *WINNER* and new Scottish Central champion, Ava Cook 4th place.
Local girl uses dance skills learnt at Rush.dance and wins Golden ticket to perform main stage with her dance idols Diversity. Beth Mackay 12 years old (Wick).
Rush.dance competition kids have just competed at MJN Promotions Hip Hop Trophy day in Grangemouth. Willie Miller said, "it's awesome when your school competes hard and then the kids get the rewards, again today Rush.dance showed we are major contenders in the Hip Hop world, teachers Rebecca & Willie Miller are really proud of our achievements at this comp." Rush.dance kids came out on top at the massive Scottish street dance competition - MAD STREET DANCE in Motherwell The competition is the 2nd biggest in Scotland with all the very best street dancers competing. Results on the day - Solo sections, U10 Advanced Solo , Chloe MacGregor *Runner up* Chloe danced in the elite section to become 2nd best U10 street dancer in Scotland was such a fantastic achievement.
