Rush.dance have just competed at UDO Central Scotland street dance championships in Perth, this is the first Qualifier for next year's World street dance championships. Thousands of dancers from all over Scotland came all hoping to make a final and qualify for next year’s big one ‘the World championships’ Solo’s U6 Open, Erna Thain *Runner up* (she is only 3 years old and competing against kids up to age 5+ just shows how fantastic this little worker has done) U8 Novice, Troy Giles *WINNER* and new Scottish Central champion, Ava Cook 4th place.26/9/2015
Rush.dance Youngest Team Member Shows Talent In Perth
Rush.dance have just competed at UDO Central Scotland street dance championships in Perth, this is the first Qualifier for next year's World street dance championships. The youngest memebr of the Rush.dance team Emma Thain came away as the runner up in the Under 6 age group.26/9/2015

North Lands Creative Glass Welcomes Equipment Donation From Dounreay
North Lands would like to say a huge thank you to our regular lampworking tutor, Ian Pearson and Dounreay Site Restoration Ltd for their kind donation of torches, lathes and cutting and polishing equipment from the now retired nuclear facility. Ian has worked tirelessly to make the donation possible and it has taken him two years to process all the authorisation paperwork.24/9/2015

MSP Seeks Highlands and Islands Talent for Holyrood Rocks
Rhoda Grant (Scottish Labour) MSP for the Highlands and Islands is calling for local bands and musicians to apply to take part in the regional heat for Holyrood Rocks, that sees bands from across Scotland compete in the final to take place in the Scottish Parliament. Holyrood Rocks aims to encourage young people's engagement in the political process, particularly among 16 and 17 year olds, who have been given the right to vote in Scottish Parliamentary and local elections.21/9/2015
