The orchestra meets in the Thurso High School, Ormlie Road, Thurso, Caithness.

Playing orchestral music of all sorts; providing a focus and meeting point for amateur and professional musicians, of any age and experience, throughout Caithness.

Concerts at least twice a year, including the popular Thurso Christmas fundraiser concert for local charities.

Every Wednesday night throughout the school year at Thurso High School from 7:30 P.M - 9:30 P.M. New members are always welcome.

Membership fee: Adults £25, Junior £10

Come And Sing Or Play Faure's Requiem With The Caithness Orchestra

All Singers and Orchestral Musicians are warmly invited to Come and Sing or Play Faure's Requiem with The Caithness Orchestra, conducted by Susie Dingle on Saturday 14th April 2018 in The Pulteney Centre, Wick. Please come and join the Caithness Orchestra for a day (10.00am-1pm and 2-5.00pm) rehearsing Faure's Requiem (Hamelle version including violins in the orchestration).
