Highlands and Islands Visual Arts Gathering
Eden Court Theatre in Inverness
Thursday 15th and Friday 16th May 2008

The last Visual Arts Gathering was held in Ullapool in November 2006 and was attended by over 100 delegates. The feedback from that event asked for more time for discussion and debate, and so the bulk of this year's Gathering will be in the form of workshops and discussion groups. But there will also be an opportunity to catch up with the latest developments in the key public agencies, regional and national, and to hear from a number of leading artists on their own experiences 'in the field'.

Attendance at the Gathering is free, but must be booked in advance. There are bursaries available from HI~Arts for those who have to travel long distances, or stay over for more than one night.
