Doing E Telford Wauk - Sunday 24 September

10th September 2006

With Caithness Archaeological Trust and Caithness Field Club go back in history and join us for the walk and afternoon tea to discover Thomas Telford's water scheme for Pulteneytown, Wick working from his original letters of 1800s to explore the layout of the Water Course into Wick, it's historic construction and importance to the British Fisheries and the Herring Industry.

Cars meeting at -
Thurso Railway Station 10.00am
Wick Railway Station 10.30am

Later at the conclusion of the walk a "Telford Tea" willbe served for all participants and an exhibition of maps charts etc willbe on display.
