Here at Lyth Arts Centre, we've already taken steps towards keeping our audiences happy and healthy with the recent Coronavirus developments. The situation is changing daily and we will communicate any changes or updates directly to you, the audience as and when required.
Some shows have unfortunately been postponed - more info on this below.
STEPS ALREADY TAKEN
Anti-bacterial wipe down of LAC spaces after every working day plus additional deep clean on a weekly basis.
Increased housekeeping hours and new disinfectant regime focusing on door handles and other vulnerable areas.
New signage encouraging everyone to wash their hands.
Altering the layout of the foyer to enable social distancing.
Strongly urging contactless over cash at the bar and box office.
COMMUNICATIONS
Up to date information published on the website blog and social media.
Any updates will be circulated through social media and website.
TICKETS
Audiences will be asked via a pre-show email to not visit LAC if they have been to any affected areas or in contact with anyone who they think may have been infected.
Audiences are also asked to not visit LAC if they develop a persistent cough or fever, in this case they are asked to stay away for at least 7 days.
If events are cancelled, a full refund will be available.
STAFF
LAC staff have been asked to self-isolate if they feel that they are at risk of being infected, or if they have any persistent cough or fever symptoms.
We have made the decision to pay all Front of House staff, Technical staff and other freelancers where shows have been postponed, to limit the trickle down effect of closure.
