16th March 2018
St John's Church Hall, Moray Street, Wick.
Have you ever felt like learning a new skill?
This is your opportunity to learn how to create a felted picture, approximately 6"X 8".
You will be supplied with a kit containing a pre-prepared felted background and felting sponge and needle. You will also be supplied with a variety of beautifully prepared coloured wool and accessories to fashion your picture as you wish. You can bring a picture postcard, photograph or other type of picture to inspire you if you wish. However, your tutor for the day, Angie, will guide and instruct you to compose a beautiful scene for you to treasure.
The day will start at 10am with coffee and cake before the workshop begins. Lunch will be served at 1pm. On the menus will be a choice of two soups served with freshly made scones followed by a scrumptious pudding. Afternoon tea and biscuits will conclude the day.
Angie is a very experienced felter who will lead you through the creative journey to result in a uniquely crafted piece of art. Lyn will pamper you with her culinary delights throughout the day.
If you can't make the 16th and are interested we are already planning another date - probably a Saturday. Please phone to express your interest (see poster).
