Caithness Arts Week
5th July 2006
Caithness Arts is arranging to hold its second Caithness Arts Week from 16th - 24th September 2006.
The purpose of the Arts Week is to promote the Arts in Caithness in all its guises, from Art to Crafts, from Dance to Drama and plenty of music in-between !
We are keen to hear from both groups and individuals who would like to participate in our celebration of the enormous talent that lies within our community and demonstrate that the Arts has no entry barriers, enjoyed by all ages whether as a performer or a spectator.
Caithness Arts has been awarded funding from Highland 2007, CASE and CED and if you would like to be considered for financial assistance to help host your event during our Arts Week, please get in touch and let us know.
We are already looking ahead to establishing an Arts Festival during 2007, the Highland Year of Culture, and have employed a full time Co-Ordinator to ensure we embrace these exciting times.
All event proposals and funding requirements should be submitted to Linda Hutton, Caithness Arts Co-Ordinator
at adnil72[AT]gmail.com. Tel :01847 895500 no later than Friday, July 21st 2006.
