Thurso Cinema Reopening as Merlin Cinema

12th November 2015

Photograph of Thurso Cinema Reopening as Merlin Cinema

MERLIN MAGIC.

Thursday 19th November 2015.

Thought we would give everyone a wee update on what your local cinema team have been doing over the last few weeks, along with our new colleagues at Merlin Cinemas HQ.

- New Heating! No more cold daytime screenings like last Winter, we have undertaken a total overhaul of the ancient heating system so everything should be a lot more comfortable now.

- Fancy Frontage! We are going to be giving the front of the building a bit of a spruce up with shiny new poster cases plus new Merlin Cinema Thurso signage to follow soon.

- New Menu! The kitchen wont be open from our first weekend, but we are working hard to ensure it follows very soon - including a tasty new menu giving some of your old favourites a new twist.

- On top of this we are also giving a full service to the projection and sound, and generally sprucing the place up a wee bit. Some of this work will continue over the next few weeks.

Only a week to go! Roll on next Thursday 19th November 2015 and the new MERLIN CINEMA THURSO.
