.
he kids travelled Saturday with instructor Willie Miller and parents to Aberdeen for stay over before travelling on to Dundee on Sunday morning. All the kids had a blast whilst staying over as a group and it also gave the parents time to chill after the journey.
Willie miller said, "We have a great bunch of dedicated kids & parents that help to put Street dance from Caithness back on the map. We are growing as a dance school and we have already certainly made an impression on the Street Dance circuit with lots more to come.
Results on the day
U8 Beg/Nov Solo, 3rd Chloe MacGregor.
U10 Beg/Nov Solo, *Winner* Tyler Hutton, 2ndplace *Runner-up* Laya Cowie & 4th place Rhiannon Mackay. This section had over 45 kids taking part and with only 6 kids making the finals and it was an amazing achievement for all 3 kids to be in it.
U16 Inter competing for her first time in this section as a trainee teacher, 5th place Rebecca Miller.
U10 Beg/Nov Duos, 2nd place *Runner-up* Tyler Hutton/Laya Cowie & 4th place Chloe MacGregor/Rhiannon Mackay. Once again this section was the biggest on the day. To have both duos in the 5 dancer finals it was also amazing.
Reflecting on the day both Willie Miller & trainee teacher Rebecca Miller thought the kids were a great credit to the dance school. Lots of credit goes out to Rebecca for choreographing their routines and for all of them to make the finals was amazing. There were also great comments for other teacher and Judges that shows what we are doing is working. All the kids were Buzzing with their results and their haul of trophies.
