Caithness Big Band - we are always delighted to welcome back this happy gang who keep jazz alive in the north by playing the well-loved swing repertoire to a very high standard to which they add a few of their own surprises. We feel proud that Caithness has a big band of its own - there is nothing quite like that rich sound to get your feet tapping.

Sam Walker and Will Bartlett - two of the popular regulars on the London jazz scene using their weeks residency at Lyth to record an album of jazz standards arranged for piano and sax. Here are those timeless melodies which have been re-interpreted by countless jazz musicians, each one discovering something new in this musical treasure trove.

Fergus McCreddie Trio - Fergus is the new boy on the block with his trio winning lots of attention across Scotland with virtuoso piano playing. This is a chance to hear an exceptionally talented young man definitely on the way up.
