Well known Scottish folk musicians Hamish Napier and Adam Sutherland take to the road this autumn with a unique and daredevil approach to performing.

Under the banner 'Nae Plans', the pair will be appearing at venues the length and breadth of the country, sharing their love of Scottish traditional music on fiddle, piano and vocals. The format is closer to the experience of the raucous and infamous 3am 'kitchen-session' than the, usually meticulously rehearsed, concert platform.

This follows the 2013 release (Errogie Records) of their debut album 'Nae Plans -Vol.1'.   After recording literally anything that came into their heads for a period of two days, they chose for the album the best bits of some eight hours of jigs, reels and songs.  The music captures the duos' raw creativity and demonstrates their outstanding musical intuition, something that can often be drowned out by advances in modern music production.

From Celtic Connections in Glasgow to Celtic Colours in Canada, Napier and Sutherland have taken to the stage, trialling this dare-devil approach live, and have been met with rave reviews. The 'Nae Plans' philosophy leaves no room for rehearsals, set lists or even discussion about the performance until the pair come together on-stage. It makes for a seat-of-the-pants, incredibly exciting experience for both listener and performer!

This, their second Scottish tour, will hit venues from Edinburgh to Thurso via Skye and end in Glasgow with a performance featuring some very special guests!
