St Fergus Gallery will have a Christmas Craft Market on Saturday 13th December. To make the gallery as festive looking as possible for this event, children and adults are invited to come in anytime during the opening times to create pretty paper decorations.

St Fergus Gallery, Wick 1st November - 6 december 2014 High Life Highland would like to invite you and your friends to visit the new exhibition Hunting for Lost Crafts which will be with us at the St Fergus Gallery from 1st November -6th December 2014. It is an exhibition of crafts and historical objects connected with the pursuits of hunting, shooting and fishing in the Highlands illustrating how historic techniques and materials have been transformed by contemporary makers - including fly-tying, taxidermy and trophy fish carving.

Rush.dance Competition kids have just competed at Central Scotland Street dance Championships in Perth, Our kids have just returned for the first Scottish UDO street dance championships, which was also a UDO European / World championship qualifier for 2015. Results on the day, Crew - U14 Novice, Fenix Rise *Runners up* Beth Mackay, Kelsey Ross, Rhiannon Mackay, laya Cowie, Chloe MacGregor, Lauren miller & Rebecca Miller (Lead choreographer) Solo - U6 Open, Hannah Cowie 5th place, Troy Giles 3rd place.
The connections exhibition at St Fergus Gallery, Wick ends on 4th October 2014. Connections is a collaborative project to showcase the work of emerging and established artists and writers living and working in Caithness.

THE popular Caithness Big Band returns to Wick's Norseman Hotel, later this month, for a charity bash in aid of the Caithness Heart Support Group. It's one of the group's biggest fundraisers and tickets both for the event, on September 13, and raffle, are available.
As part of this year's Blas Festival, Wick's Assembly Rooms will be rocking to the distinctive sound of the Red Hot Chilli Pipers on Saturday 6th September. However many fans will be disappointed as the concert is now completely sold out.
Rush.dance have just competed at the biggest street dance competition of the year. UDO (United dance organisation) have just held the World street dance championships in Glasgow at both SECC and CLYDE venues, with dancers from over 30 countries around the world from afar a field as Canada, Australia, Japan, America, Netherlands, Germany and many more, with 250 crews competing and over 6000 people attending.

16 August - 20 September 2014 St Fergus Gallery, Wick High Life Highland and Highland Print Studio would like to invite you to view a contemporary visual art exhibition titled Sexy Peat at St Fergus Gallery from 16th August - 20th September. This exhibition celebrates the ecology and heritage of blanket bog, and environment of global importance, of which Scotland has the two largest continual areas, the Flow Country and the Lewis Peatland.
