Call For Artists In Scalloway, Shetland
The Booth was constructed by Scalloway Waterfront Trust in 2001.  It was built on the site of an old fisherman's store which was the oldest building in the town and was converted into a live-work space for visiting artists which is managed by Wasps in partnership with Shetland Arts Trust.

Funding Opportunity - Creative Enterprise Fund (Scotland)
Creative Scotland and Young Scot have launched a new fund to support young people, aged 15-22, in activities which allow them to flourish within the creative industries.   The Creative Enterprise Fund can offer awards of up to £200 for individuals or £750 for groups of two or more young people, where one of a pair or two thirds of any larger group are aged between 15-22.

Launch of Inverness Winter Festival Programme
The Highland Council has announced details of the programme for this year’s free Inverness Hogmanay Party as the 2013 Inverness Winter Festivals programme got underway today (Thursday 10th October 2013) with the start of the three day Inverness Street Theatre Festival.   The Hogmanay celebrations will commence in mid-afternoon with children’s event The Wee Hot Highland Fling before Comedian Craig Hill takes to the stage at Northern Meeting Park Arena to host a free four-hour show which will be headlined by The Red Hot Chilli Pipers.
