Rush.dance Competition kids have just competed at Scotland's Biggest Street dance competition of the year so far, our kids put themselves up against the very best dancers in Scotland at the UDO Scottish Championships in the Royal Concert hall Glasgow on the 8th June 2014.   Results on the day - It was only their second time out competing for our new all girl crew.

After 25 years of London life, Young Films, the independent film and television company behind ‘The Inbetweeners', has swapped the streets of the capital for a full time base on the shores of Skye.   The business, owned by acclaimed producer Chris Young, who first moved to the island in the 90s, has also just returned from the Cannes Film Festival (14-25 May), where he was promoting the work of Young Films.

Artist Magi Sinclair has been announced winner of Edinburgh College of Art’s (ECA) Astaire Art Prize with a carbon drawing entitled ‘Forsinard Flows’.   Originally from Latheron and now living in Clovenfords in the Scottish Borders, Magi is in the final year of a BA Combined Studies Degree.

National Theatre of Scotland is delighted to announce that 180 The Great Yes, No, Don’t Know, Five Minute Theatre Show pieces have been selected to take part in the exciting 24 hour online broadcast of live theatre, taking place on Monday 23rd June, from 5pm until 5pm the following day, with over 10 performances coming from the Highlands.   A cross-section of selected The Great Yes, No, Don’t Know Five Minute Theatre Show pieces from the Highlands features the following: The Dance of Don’t Know; In a piece from the senior pupils at Culloden Academy, Inverness, pupils are participating in ceilidh dance lessons and discussing the fact that this might seem strange lessons to students from other parts of the world.
