On the 2nd to the 4th of November 2018, Thurso Come Dancing are hosting the first ever "FarNorth Dancefest".   We are bringing 4 teachers from the Inverness area to 4 venues in Thurso to run simultaneous workshops for a weekend extravaganza.

Christmas Mega Market at Caithness Horizons
Caithness Horizons are going Christmas Crazy on the weekend of 16-17th November 2018 and we would like to invite you to take part! The Market will run from on Friday 16th November from 10am - 4pm with set up from 8.30am and it will also run on Saturday 17th November from 10am - 3pm.   As part of the festive celebrations, we are holding our Annual Christmas Market with stalls placed throughout our beautiful building.

We are delighted to welcome Blas Festival to Lyth Arts Centre! Blas Festival was devised by The Highland Council in partnership with Fèisean nan Gàidheal and the Promoters Arts Network to celebrate the culture of traditional music and Gaelic in the Highlands of Scotland.  This evenings performances includes two sets of musicians: Adam Sutherland & Marc Clement and Josie Duncan & Pablo Lafuente.

Blas, which means ‘taste' or ‘sample', is organised by Fèisean nan Gàidheal in partnership with The Highland Council and will take place from 7-15th September.   It aims to celebrate Gaelic culture and the thriving Scottish traditional music scene over nine days of concerts, cèilidhs and larger events in venues across the Highlands and Islands.
