You may already be aware that Noise Ensemble, the percussion show that is much more besides (comedy, audience interaction and stunning visual effects) ,comes to Eden Court, Inverness for one night only. The show is perfect for all ages - I know many shows say that, but this really is suitable for all generations of a family and audience feedback is testament to that.

Get involved!
Additonally, on 25 Feb also, there is an opportunity for audience to get involved in the music - local drumming group Drumfun will be running a 'drum circle' in the foyer during the interval of the show. Hosted by popular local drummer Steve Sharpe together with Noise Ensemble performers, the drum circle will give audience members an informal and relaxed chance to try their hand (literally!) at drumming. All instruments are provided and no-one needs previous experience.

Five facts about the show:
In 3 years of touring, Noise Ensemble have used well over 400 pairs of drumsticks
All 30 drum heads in the show are replaced on a regular basis to keep the drums sounding at their best
Noise Ensemble performers each burn more than 500 calories per show. That's the same as running 5 miles.
Noise Ensemble has toured the UK three times and travelled many times the distance from John O'Groats to Land's End
Noise Ensemble pits the girls against the boys. To date the boys have won more often, but 2009 could change all that!
