Lybster Art Class Now Underway

The newly formed Lybster Art Class which met for the first time on Wednesday, 2nd April in Lybster Day Centre got off to a successful start with ten members.

This twelve week course offers an introduction to painting and drawing and is a pilot scheme supported by the South East Caithness Development Group and the Highland Council with the intention of establishing regular classes in the area available to everyone.

The course is led by accomplished artist and experienced community arts tutor Lydia Popowich. The Group is hoping to move into a more spacious venue in a couple of weeks and would be able to take on a few extra students.

The fees are £6 per morning session including some materials.
