Traditional Culture – Stories – Art – Fun & Gathering People in the North

This is the most northerly Storytelling Festival on the mainland of Scotland – come and visit the festival and have the bonus of seeing spectacular scenery and historic archeological sites scattered everywhere up here – even with all the windfarms they are building and planning.

We are based in a small traditional style hall (Melvich Village Hall - check for us on Facebook) in the midst of the traditional fishing and crofting villages of Portskerra and Melvich with a fabulous background of traditional stories and Gaelic /Norse culture and ceilidhs, music, song and edged by glorious fishing and surfing beaches and the sea.
