Voluntary Arts Week, 11 – 19 May 2013

Voluntary Arts Week is an annual, week-long celebration of amateur arts & craft activity across the UK & Republic of Ireland taking place from 11 – 19 May 2013.

There are lots of ways to get involved, whether you’re an arts and/or craft group looking to promote your activities or an individual looking to take part in creative projects happening near you.

They are planning to kick it off with their most ambitious craft project ever! If you’re a knitter, stitcher, quilter, embroiderer – whatever your craftform – they want you to get involved in the Voluntary Arts Week ‘Craftbomb‘. They are calling on all crafters to help turn the UK and Ireland’s public spaces into a riot of colour to celebrate the first day of Voluntary Arts Week.
