Peter Cattrell, Landscapes from the Western Front

St Fergus Gallery, Wick Library To mark the Centenary of the First World War this exhibition of photographic work by Scottish photographer Peter Cattrell includes quiet, reflective landscapes from the Somme.   Catrell's interest in the Somme was sparked upon the discovery of a photograph of his great uncle, William Wyatt Bagshawe, with three of his companions from the Sheffield 'Pals' Battalion.  

Rush.dance Haul of Trophies At Perth

Rush.dance have just competed at UDO Central Scotland street dance championships in Perth, this is the first Qualifier for next year's World street dance championships.   Thousands of dancers from all over Scotland came all hoping to make a final and qualify for next year’s big one ‘the World championships’ Solo’s U6 Open, Erna Thain *Runner up* (she is only 3 years old and competing against kids up to age 5+ just shows how fantastic this little worker has done) U8 Novice, Troy Giles *WINNER* and new Scottish Central champion, Ava Cook 4th place.  

The Weepers at St Fergus Gallery, Wick

Visit the film production at the St Fergus Gallery from 19th September to 17th October 2015 by Rachel Maclean, The Weepers.   The Weepers was commissioned by Comar on Mull, the film examines the legend of Bean Nighe or Washer Women, a monstrous and ominous spirit.

Rushdance Kids Swept The Boards At Hip Hop Competitions in Grangemouth

Rush.dance competition kids have just competed at MJN Promotions Hip Hop Trophy day in Grangemouth.   Willie Miller said, "it's awesome when your school competes hard and then the kids get the rewards, again today Rush.dance showed we are major contenders in the Hip Hop world, teachers Rebecca & Willie Miller are really proud of our achievements at this comp." St Fergus Gallery and High Life Highland would like to invite you and your friends to visit the Danish Diaspora - Scotland Seen Through Danish Eyes.   The exhibition of ceramics, jewellery, baskets and boxes will show work by five internationally recognized Scottish Danes Lotte Glob, Lise Bech, Lillian Busch, Mette Fruergaard and Nickolai Globe.

MAD street dance Ultimate championships

Rush.dance kids came out on top at the massive Scottish street dance competition - MAD STREET DANCE in Motherwell The competition is the 2nd biggest in Scotland with all the very best street dancers competing.   Results on the day - Solo sections, U10 Advanced Solo , Chloe MacGregor *Runner up* Chloe danced in the elite section to become 2nd best U10 street dancer in Scotland was such a fantastic achievement.
