An Arts Development Study of Caithness
Revealing the Vision of Caithness An Arts Development Study of Caithness We know that some folk have been looking for this report recently and so have relinked it here - Caithness.org The full report produced in May 2003 is at http://www.caithness.org/ecs/visionsofcaithness/index.htm 2 Introduction and methodology 2.1 Highland Council commissioned this Arts Development Study for Caithness through a steering committee in September 2002.  The membership of the steering committee comprised Tom Bryan, Arts Development Officer (Caithness), Katrina Gordon, Chair, Caithness Arts, Eann Sinclair, Head of Projects, Caithness and Sutherland Enterprise and William Wilson, Director, Lyth Arts Centre.

Calling Arts Groups To Check Out New Funding Source
CLORE DUFFIELD FOUNDATION £1 Million Over Five Years Available Grants of up to £10,000 are available to fund education programmes that cover every aspect of the performing arts including opera, dance, music, musical theatre, the spoken word and theatre.  The funding which is being made available through the Clore Duffield Foundation's Small Grants programme is open to both professional and amateur arts organisations, including schools.

Its These Years Of Being - Devised Theatre Performance By Acting Students
North Highland College HNC Acting & Performance students present a piece of devised theatre called 'Its these years of being……' the material was inspired by the work of American Poet Richard Brautigan(1935-1984).   Brautigan who lived in San Francisco became an integral part of the mid- 60's scene and was part of the beat movement.

Saturday 10th December 8pm "RED FISH" is an exciting new development for Grey Coast Theatre Company as it is the first time the company has been awarded a Scottish Arts Council music commission which has enabled long term Grey Coast musical collaborator Andy Thorburn (of Blazin' Fiddles etc.) to write music for the company well ahead of the pressure of production.   "RED FISH" is the unbelievable story of a Klondike in the north, of a small town which literally blows up.

Hi-Arts Shortlisted In Dynamic Place Awards 2005
The search to find the winners of this year's Dynamic Place Awards, the only awards in Scotland that recognise the country's leading design, innovation and regeneration projects, has taken a leap forward with the announcement of this year's shortlist of entries.   The awards judges have reduced the list of nearly 100 entries down to 26 projects.
